Re: 4WDABC Van Isl meet n greet
Last time I went it was a lot of fun. A lot of Jeeples were very impressed by the Land Rovers capabilities. Maybe we could campout somewhere in the bush during the evening as it seems like there is none provided.

Re: 4WDABC Van Isl meet n greet
It is a good event last time I went (15 years ago) it was a lot of fun. Not many landrovers but great trails and food.
If I do not have to work I would like to go for the Saturday drive and the reception-dinner at the Honeymoon bay hall in the evening.
The 4wdabc does a lot to help keep the BC. off road trials and roads open, much like Roverlanders does looking after certain areas.
Hi Colin If you go Ill need a ride like normal.
Camping is available in the region at Gordon Bay (5-6 miles away) they might even have plug in sites to run a small electric space heater.
Thanks Victor

I’m signed up. Not sure if I’m going to camp yet though.

Hi Stuart
Colin and I will be there on the Saturday drive and for dinner for sure.
There is not a lot of info on the 4 wheel drive associations web site yet on meeting time or place for the drives on Saturday and Sunday.
Ill try to find out.
See you then Victor

Hi Stuart
Thanks for finding that start time info (9:00 am at the Honeymoon bay community hall).
Colin, myself and possibly Oliver will be there, likely in the defender.

Looks like it is just a one day event. So no camping to worry about.
Come on Land Rover people we need a good presence at this event. Last time it was fun! I winched a lot of jeeps out.

Hi Guys
Sorry I can no longer attend the event, things have changed, I no longer have the day off. The steam train is going to be running on the weekends for Christmas at the forest museum and I have to work.
I"ll be thinking of you guys out there having fun pulling J%$ps out when they get stuck.

Fun day with Colin & Oliver and the 4WDA Vancouver Island. Mostly FSR but I pinned a few locations for potential rally and camping spots.
