Sanichton Acres Old English Car club event Sunday June 2nd 2024

The South Island Branch of the Ole English car club is again putting on the Restoration Fair Swap meet and Car show on Sunday June 2nd in beautiful downtown Sanichton (on the way to the ferries). Land rover attendance varies but normally around 10 rovers show up.
Its a fun day, great cars, old artifacts at the museum to check out, mini train rides, food trucks etc etc.
Hope to see a good rover turnout this year (weather permitting of course).

Well there seems to be absolutely no interest in this event. Its forecast to rain all day anyway, so likely it will be a washout.

So perhaps we shall see some of you Land rover guys at the next British Car event on Vancouver Island which is in Ladysmith at Transfer beach on July 14th. "Brits on the Beach" Up to 250 Ole English cars, its a goodun.

Sorry no link to the event, the Ole English Car Club website leaves a lot to be desired. But the info is out there, Google is your friend.

Yes we will meet at my place again in Duncan and drive up as a convoy (safety in numbers) to the show. Ill let my buddies with English cars know that's what we are doing again.

That show is getting so popular that I think we should be on the road by 8:00 for the nice scenic slow back road drive up to Transfer beach in Ladysmith.
So show up around 7:45 am. Tell your friends the more the merrier.
Ill start a new posting for the show in a couple of days.
