Just heard that Britrest is closing down, apparantly due to a "fatal accident". Sorry awful but my morbid curiosity has got me wondering. Anyone got the story on just what led up to this decision to shut down operations. Don't need names or anything, just curious.

Britrest......
Hey Billy,
Yeh, I noticed all their Defenders etc... up for sale on Land Rover Exchange Listings
It says reason for sale "due to fatal accident", and says they will be "getting out of the Land Rover business for a while".
Hopefully just a temp. shut down :?:

Thanks for the info Moose, sounds like an exremely sad situation that has shaken Mike and everyone up pretty badly. I don't blame him from wanting to bail out after something like that. I guess we should all remember that you can never secure your truck with enough jackstands and blocks when working underneath, take care.
