What is this bracket?

Can't seem to find info anywhere on this but I have this bracket (on both sides of the bulkhead) and on th2 left side it interferes with being able to fit the brake pedal. Trying to figure out of i can just cut it off to get the brake pedal unit up to where it needs to be t

What is this bracket?

The bracket is for the fluid reservoir on a Series 2a.

If you are changing to a series 3, it is probably in the way.

There's one on both sides, can I cut the one out over the brake? I'm rebuilding a S2a but using the new servo brakes.

Sorry. I was wrong. That bracket is a bulkhead support only used on RHD vehicles. It will be fine to remove.

I'm confused, if its only on RHD vehicles, why is there one on both sides?

You use the bracket opposite your drivers' side. My LHD S2 had the threaded rod as pictured in Red90's update above on the right hand side and not on the left.
