My 67' 2a 109 has brand new front seats (all three). I'd like to swap those out for 2 bucket seats and three point seat belts, possibly keeping the middle seat, or changing it to a console. Does anybody have some ideas on how this can be done a bit cheaper than Exmoor? Not that I don't like their stuff, quite the opposite I think, but it's a bit pricey.

Hi,
I have a couple of 110 front seats kicking around which would probably bolt in pretty simply, not sure if they would be bucket enough for what you are looking for. You can have them for free if you want. Good luck!

Hey Geoff, more controversial and you might have already come across my posts on the matter, but Smart Fortwo seats can work a treat. I did a lot of research into the same issue (being someone that can't afford to spend my way out of problems, but wanted to daily drive my truck) and they are what a lot of people in other car communities (old vans that have similar issues to us, and small race cars with other clearance issues) use, because they're comfortable, robust and have (to the best of my knowledge) the lowest seat profile of any modern production car.
You do need some simple risers to make them work (because the seat base extends below the mounting rails at a one point), but that is a popular mod for land rover seats anyways (to clear the lip behind the seat and get you more leg room)
Here's mine:

I actually have another set, that I also used to solve my speaker problem (that pair has speakers in the head rest), for sale, but a pair shouldn't be too hard to track down regardless. Both of mine were custom reupholstered by their previous owners. The stock colors may be more to your taste.
This is the spare set I have:

Don't think it should be an issue leaving the middle seat in the middle, I'm pretty sure the difference in seat width is negligible.

Thanks for that... I did see posts on this. I did obtain some Defender seats from Ryan, so that is Plan A. They look like they'll work, but I'll get them in today to see how they work out.
