The alarm on my 1995 Disco I has been slowly getting more sensitive as time goes by and now goes off just about every time I unlock the doors.
Anyone have experience with an over sensitive alarm who can give me some pointers on what to check?

I think I stumbled ona solution to this one.
The drivers side rear passenger door lock is a bit sticky and does not always go down when the central locking is activated.
If I see that's happened I unlock then lock the car again to make sure that particular lock goes down (it always seems to on the 2nd go) and hey-presto, no more false alarms.

Hi David,
Hope all is well.
I've had to replace two of the door lock mechanisms on my 99 Disco II, with similar problems, although the alarm doesn't seem as sensitive on the Disco II. I wonder if there's some preventitive maintenance that can be done to keep the mechanisms from failing, as they're not very cheap, even from the wreckers.
