Indian Arm FSR

Does anyone know if the Indian Arm road is open yet? I know it was closed indefinately due to a bridge washout, but a friend told me that she thought some friends of hers had driven into Norton lake last week.

I was up there last weekend. Two in our group got $175 fines for "unauthorized use of a forest service road"

The bridge they took out is a joke at this time of year but I gather it could be a gusher during the runoff.

The lake was so nice it was worth it!!

Care to explain what they meant as unauthorized use?
