Bible Camp
Hi all,
Anyone interested in going to the Bible Camp for a day or an over night run? The plan is for a weekend in early March. I've contacted the pastor and he said we are welcome to use it anytime, we just need to let him know in advance.
Regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
The Bible camp is a great run. I would be able to make the 2nd weekend in March if that works for you?
cheers,
Andy

Hi Andrew,
Sorry it's taken a couple days to get back to you, this working for a living is really getting in the way of my fun. I've been so busy, I even forgot there was a RoverLanders meeting tonight...
Anyway, as stated above, the run will take place the weekend of March 3/4. I think nearly everyone is interested in camping there, so I expect we'll stay over on Saturday night. Some people are going over Friday night and staying with relatives, but most of us will be taking the ferry on Saturday morning.
So far, there are 4 or 5 Mogs, 2 4Runners, and a Toyo PU. The details of where and when we'll meet are still TBD and will be decided next week. Suggestions are welcomed.
If you want to see what the trail is like, check out the pictures from last year's run on the RoverLanders website. If you'd like to join us, you can post here, PM me at [email protected], or call me at 604.505.0541.

Working on sorting out my schedule, but I think I'm game! I guess the German engine and Japanese Transmission in my Ford plants me squarely in the Axis camp as well, eh?plembesis wrote:Hi Andy,
Sorry, it seems that changing to a different weekend will be problematic for some so we're going to stick to the original plan. :-( With no Rovers so far, looks like it's going to an Axis weekend. A Fiat would help complete my diabolical plan...

Body and vehicle count
Next weekend is the Sunshine Coast Bible camp run. :D I need to know who's in so I can give a vehicle and body count to the pastor. The plan is to take the 7:20 ferry on Saturday morning (March 3) and meet at the Sechelt Extra Foods parking lot between 9:00 and 9:30. There's lots of room for camping and most people seem interested in staying on Saturday night and taking the ferry back mid day on Sunday.
I'd like to get the count finalized within the next few days so if your are planning on attending, please let me know ASAP.
Thanks and hope to see you there,
Pete

Bible camp...
Great trail, a little rough going & lots of snow....just how we like it!!
It was good to meet lots of new faces & a diverse mix of trucks, including three unique Unimogs. (only one LR  )
If you haven't been out to the bible camp, best go this year because the old buildings are fast dissapearing!
cheers,
Andy & Bailey :D

Hey guys,
I had a great time as well. I was happy to see that one LR made it out anyway. I'll be getting my fuel tank reinstalled this weekend so the next run will be with the 110.
Andy, where did you and Bailey end up camping? I hope things worked out well and Bailey had fun, despite not camping at the Bible camp.
Steve and Wes, I'm glad you guys made it out with the rest of the Turtles. Special thanks to Steve for all the work with the saw. Steve, you and your Stihl are welcome on any future Mog run!

Pete
