Squamish Run - Sunday November 4th

#1 Post by bclandrover » Sun Oct 28, 2007 9:13 pm

Hi everyone,

At the meeting last Tuesday it was decided the cancel the trials day and instead we decided on the couple trail rides for November. One in Squamish, on November 4th and one in Harrison on November 17th.

I volunteered to host the run in Squamish on Sunday, Nov 4th. We will meet at the Chevron station at the North End of Squamish for a 9:30AM departure. The same Chevron station as the last Snowflake Chase.

This run could lead us to some serious off-road obsticles and probably snowy conditions. You should be prepared for such conditions.

Please post your intentions here.

Thanks,
Don

Hi Don,

I'm interested in participating as a co-driver - after the Northwest Challenge I had better look before I leap.

I look forward to meeting the posse on Saturday at the Chevron, if its a go!

I guess we had better show some interest here. I am planning on attending.

Hi everyone,

Sorry but given the current forecast for falling snow along the Sea to Sky Highway, I must extend my regrets.

Its not that I don't trust my driving or the capabilities of Putt-Putt, its all of the other people on the road that I worry about.

Floris,

SNOW! Where did you see that forcast? Last I looked Sunday in Squamish was sun, sun sun. If you're still interested in going but don't want to drive I have a seat and could probably be talked into a slight detour to pick you up on my way through.

John,

Got my dates mixed up - I will see everyone on SUNDAY at the Chevron.

I'll be driving out but would like to co-pilot for the run.

Looks like we'll have about 10 trucks.

There was mention of breakfast at the restaurant across from Shannon Falls. I don't think I'll make it but give yourself an extra 45min to an hour if your going to stop in for breakfast.

See you guy tomorrow. 9:30 depart from Chevron.

Later,
Don
