New? Land Rover for us.
Paid for it today! 1955 86" SW, mostly complete. Things that I can see while it is still parked in the bushes are that the grill is missing as is the starter motor. It needs a good cleaning and then I can get serious about what's wrong with it. Seeing as the motor hasn't been cranked over in 12 years, nor has the thing been moved in that time, there might be some issues. The body panels seem mostly straight and the mechanicals don't look like they have been changed from original. Looks like another project. Guess I better finish the 109!

This is just my second Land Rover; well, unless you include the Range Rover, then it's my third; well, unless you include the 88 I have in the barn that is resettable but sort of a parts car unless it gets put back together, then it's my 4th; well, unless you include the chassis and body that's on the roadside in front of the barn, it has an early Bronco chassis, just looking for running gear, if you include that too, then i guess that would be five. You won't tell my wife I have that many will you? And you aren't counting the little models I have too are you? I just bought another one of those yesterday. It's a Matchbox 1997 110 SW, found at Super Store for $1.98, I bought the only 3 they had on display. (Christmas is coming.) (Are you allowed to say Christmas here or will it get nixed or changed to festive season?)
