Kodiak heater. I think ....
Hi. Can you guys help me with figuring out what I have here.
I was told this is a Kodiak heater which I think it is. But it’s missing some parts (at least I think it is). I’m not sure what belongs and what doesn’t and what is missing.
Here’s what I have. Other photos to be posted in reply.

The distribution box doesn’t look like a Kodiak. The blower does.
Here is some more info that may help http://www.expeditionlandrover.info/Kodiak_heater.htm

Thanks.
Looking at this I think my distribution box is a mark 1. But I don’t have the huge arm that sits in the passenger wheel well.
The motor and the heater core look correct though. It is missing the intake plenum I think.

Re: Kodiak heater. I think ....
This does not look like anything Kodiak. The motor and fan box are fairly generic items that were used by many American car firms of that period. And, I don't think the Kodiak fan box was ever cast aluminum like in the pic. (But I have been proven wrong before!!) The heater core/plenum box seems to fit very nicely, but again, it's not like anything Kodiak. It's not a Mansfield heater. And, it's not from a Lightweight. Once you get it all off the vehicle, lets see pictures of it disassembled. Might be able to identify more then.
