Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Classic car restoration experience
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding
- Paneling placement/fitting
- Familiar with product design, CAD design.
- Familiar with CNC machine programming, Plasma / Router Table & 3D printer
- Ability to fabricate using various materials
- Ability to do basic automotive painting
- Strong body work skills
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on classic to late model vehicles cars
- Swap existing engines, drivetrain and suspension with aftermarket ones
- Proficiency in electrical systems and full vehicle wiring
- Proficiency in chassis and suspension systems from stock to aftermarket
- Maintain and/or service classic to late model cars
- Research parts as needed for your assigned car
- Work with colleagues on complicated mechanical issues
- Record completed work daily for customer information
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Able to deal with a fast-paced and dynamic, multiple project workload while maintaining a positive & friendly attitude (attitude is huge to us)
- Team-oriented, attention to detail, organized, friendly, hard-working, intelligent, knowledgeable yet willing to learn
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional mechanical experience
- Degree or certification in automotive technology from an accredited institution
Must be an "A+" technician and have knowledge of engine/driveline, steering and suspension, electrical, and frame-off, classic vehicle restoration. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You must have your own professional tools and enjoy working in a clean, friendly and fast paced environment. Salary depends on qualifications, skill and experience.
