LT230 for Rebuild

#1 Post by paulg_d130 » Wed Aug 04, 2021 12:34 pm

I am looking for a rebuildable LT230, mine has a severe leak on the intermediate shaft.
Would like to find a case to rebuild on the bench and then just swap in, dont want to take the truck off the road for too long during camping season!

Preferably a 43D, 47D, 57D suffix G case

also if anyone knows of a shop experienced in machining and installing the steel bushing insert for the intermediate shaft please let me know.

Cheers
Paul

I have lots of LT230's over on the island. Mostly Discovery & RRC 1.2 ratios.
