Disco 2 series 2 badge

Hi, this isn't really a mechanical question, but more of a technical one. I have an 04 D2 and I ordered the series II badge that is on the pre facelift D2's to put on mine. So I was curious if any of you have tried it or have any ideas on how to stick it to the truck, I was thinking double sided tape, but my dad was concerned with the weather elements getting to the tape and drying it out thus making the badge have the potential to fall off. The same concern came up with trying glue or an adhesive. So, I was hoping maybe some of you guys have suggestions or if you have done it what did you use. The badge isn't supposed to arrive until next week, so I won't have a solution until then. Anyway thanks.

Look for a 3M VHB tape. Aside from numerous other used this type of double sided adhesive tape is what is used to bond body side moldings to cars. You could try an auto glass shop or even Home Depot.

Hey thanks for the tip John the badge finally arrived and we stuck it on. It looks great, I recommend everyone with a 03/04 discovery to put one on.
