Hello,
Apologies if I've missed a post but I can't seem to find any decisive comments around whether it's legal in BC to install headlight guards (ie for an LR3 the slim steel bar cage)?
Reading the MVA it would appear that any obstruction could be considered a violation but I see many people who run with these installed and wondered if it was generally ignored by law enforcement.
Have the rear guards on with no issues.
Thanks for any feedback.

Re: Legality of Headlight Guards in BC
As a certified commercial vehicle inspector, I cannot find anything in the inspection manual regarding headlight guards.
My opinion is if they impede the light shining forward, then that could be an issue, however, I have yet to see any guards that actually impede the light. Even the old clip in wire cages did not impede any light, just protected against the rocks that the Hwy dept used to put down in winter.
