Though easy to take out on my 97 D1, I tried using a gear puller to pop out the old bushings, which did not work too well. A quick trip to a garage and 30 minutes later new bushings in, no worries and no headaches. Also a small mallet and a 2’ crowbar made the installation a little easier. 88 Nm is the magic number. Being an older vehicle, I had to shave off 1/2 of one mill in order for the bushings to fit.
Now back to the sunroof issue…
Fun with panhard bushings
