Re: Front brakes for my 109 with dual cylinders per side. INFO NEEDED!
Look for information on brakes for my 109 Station Wagon. Do the pipes for my brake cylinder go over the top or under? or are my brakes set up wrong? mean the cylinders are to the back and front and not top and bottom?
Please let me know?

Assuming it is a series 2.
Section H-7 and H-8 of the "series 2 workshop manual" indicates same as your photo for the 109 11" brakes.
Brake pipe from 5 way to R.H. front to top of wheel brake cylinder then auxiliary connecting pipe from top brake cylinder to lower brake cylinder......
Exactly as your photo.
Appears all good.

This is the back of the passenger side..... So the pipe then goes to the front...

I think you may have two options here.....BUT I'm not sure if the upper brake cylinder has the same female thread spec on the two inlet/outlet ports.
Firstly, I would take off the brake drum and ensure the internals are as per the H-8 drawing for the L.H. and R.H......
If they are then rearrange the piping,
If they are not then the backing plates could have been reversed....ie on the wrong sides.

parts manual for 109 11" brake anchor plate
L.H. 246565
R.H. 246566
I'm not sure if it is possible to switch L.H. part onto R.H. side and vice versa.....

Yes, the model and year is important as there was quite a few changes and differences.
If I remember correctly the cylinders were top and bottom as shown in your photo.
My old Haynes manual shows the cylinders top and bottom for all 109 Front wheels (but the workshop manual does show them on the left and right).
