Brits on the Beach British car show Sunday July 9th 2023

Hi Guys

The Ole English Car Club is again putting on Brits on the Beach at Transfer Beach park on the ocean in Ladysmith BC. Sunday July 9th 2023
Its a great show and free as well (bring a donation for the food bank), normally we get about 10-15 rovers attending, and over 200 other fine British cars.

I am heading up from my place in Duncan at 8:15 and will be taking the scenic back road route along the coast. Anybody who wishes to can join into the convoy, (safety in numbers)

Brits on the Beach Annual Rover BBQ/after party

Lisa and I will be hosting a BBQ at our place in Ladysmith after the car show for Rover people. Come as you are, we will be providing the food (backyard BBQ including meat and meat alternatives) and soft drinks, BYOB if you want something harder. Please message me or post here to confirm numbers so we get enough food. Looking forward to a nice car show and get together.

Marg and I will be attending the show and your barbeque, I already have a few fine British automobiles meeting at my place Sunday morning for the drive up on the back roads.
Should we all bring a side dish since your supping the main course?

Glad to hear that you are coming to the BBQ. Lisa and I will have burgers and buns as well as a couple of salads, chips, veggies, soda and a dessert. You can bring something to share if you want but it’s optional. BYOB if you want some more than pop. Should be a good show.

My ferry arrives in Crofton at 0845 and with a bit of luck I will be able to intercept the convoy before you all reach Ladysmith. Otherwise… save me a spot in the shade!

We could possibly wait for you at the Crofton ferry dock (We are going that way anyway), that timing is just about perfect, we have done that before when Stuart brought "Grizzly Torque" to the show from Salt spring Island. There is a boat launching area just to the north of the ferry dock that's likely where we will be waiting. Unless we are late.

The convoy of fine British cars will be departing from my place in Duncan at 8:30. I have no clue how many will be in the group, but probably to many to have us pull into the boat launch area.
But the timing should be perfect to have you join up with us as we turn from York road heading north onto Crofton road heading west ( the brass bell pub intersection.)
So see you Sunday morning and I will have my radio on.
