Driving and Fog Lights

I'm now looking to fit a pair each of driving lights and fog lights, and am asking for recommendations regarding make and model. Both sets will be wired through fused relays with appropriately sized wiring. My problem is that there are so many models available, many being cheap, unreliable, or under-performing c**p, it is difficult to identify good value items. And very rarely do they give beam pattern and intensity contours. I'm not prepared to spend silly money - I'm thinking JWSpeaker and Trucklites - but I want to get sets that give good light and look right on a Defender.

Please, can anybody give me recommendations or links, preferably based on personal experience. Many thanks in advance for any pointers.
