I found out my 2.25 petrol block is cracked, so I'm looking for a replacement for my ‘68 2a 109. I'm also entertaining the option of a swap-if you have possible engines (200TDI,OM 617a, or others?) or even the adapters, please get in touch. Thanks.

I’m curious, did the engine freeze? They’re pretty bulletproof in general.

It must have at some point; a 10in crack along the exterior- I never ran the engine long enough to see if it leaked. I was able to line up a replacement block yesterday, fingers crossed that it looks good once it’s dipped and examined at the rebuilders.
