Rover-Landers Family BBQ Aug 13th - Cates Park, North Van

#1 Post by bclandrover » Sat Jul 29, 2006 10:27 pm

Hello everyone,

I am organizing a Rover-Landers family BBQ on Sunday, August 13th in Cates Park, North Vancouver from 12:00 til 4:00.

There is a large grassy area in the sun, playground, ocean beach, concession and more so bring the whole family.

This will be a great opportunity for families with kids to get out to a Rover-Landers function and also, for anyone who going, to chit-chat about the up coming Whipsaw trip.

Details for food and drink to be determined, please contact me with ideas.

Thanks,
Don MacDonald

Loks like we're still on.

So will everyone be bringing there own pinic baskets or should we try and organize somthing.

I haven't booked the undercover area, but there is plenty of grass.

I suggest you bring your folding chairs, tables and blankets or whatever.

Later,
Don

Hi Don,

We're away today but hopefully will be there tomorrow. Probably a little late, though...

The plan at the last BBQ was for everyone to bring their own food, beverages and cooking supplies. I think that works best at this point in time.

Hello everyone,

I have three large platers, veggies, fruit and cheese. Bring everything else you need.

Later,
Don

Don,
Just to note that there is a children's festival going on at Cates from noon until 5. So you might want to get there a bit early to secure a spot. I'll probably drop by sometime as well.
Cheers,
Gregg
