Has anyone had experience bringing a LR into Canada which is 25 years or older? Is it duty exempt but PST and GST payable?
Cheers
Ted

15 years, 1 year, $10,000
I am a Canadian who was working abroad.
When I brought my 1988 110 in I was tax & duty exempt because I paid less then $10,000, I had been out of the country for over 1 year and owned the vehicle for over 6 months.
If I sold my 110 in the first 2? years after returning I would have to pay the taxes.
Please take this as a guide and check with the authorities because rules change and my memory forgets...
