Northwest Challenge 2006, Oct 7-8, Eastern Oregon

NORTHWEST CHALLENGE

The Northwest Challenge will be held at the Morrow County OHV park on October 7 and 8. The park is located about 20 miles south of Heppner, and just off Highway 207. There is a very nice camping area, and a small fee is charged by the county.

The event starts at 8-9am Saturday morning, so be there by 8am. We will be doing a group ride (follow Doug) and have tasks set up along the way for all to watch. Then a short (that's up to you) night exercise. A task or two on Sunday morning, then we’ll leave for home by noon. I don't recommend first time off-roaders on the follow along, but by showing up, someone may be able to direct you to view points.

We will be preparing a BBQ dinner for the group on Saturday evening. Bring your own beverages and eating utensils and everything else will be provided.

Please contact Doug Shipman at [email protected] or telephone 503.252.5566.

Hi Guys,

Jeff and I are planning on taking the Disco again for this. We'll be leaving Friday morning, October 6 around 10am.

It's about a 10.5hour drive!!

Anybody else who is interested please post your plans here.

Later,
Don
