Whipsaw this weekend

#1 Post by DaveB » Thu Oct 12, 2006 10:12 am

It's down on the calendar for the final cleanup run of the year. But Shawn sent me a photo of a rather deep clean layer of white stuff at Lodestone...

Anyone interested in running up to Lodestone from Granite City to check it out on Saturday?

There was a very heavy snow storm when I was there last weekend with the Northwest Overlanders. We made the run without difficulties but the run down from loadstone was very slippery and lots of fun. Unfortunately I have committed to going fishing at a remote area on the west coast for a week starting Saturday so I will not be able to make a return trip to loadstone this weekend. I did clean up the campsite and posted a sign on the outhouse . The trail was exceptionally clean for it's entire length. Anyone going up there this weekend is going to have loads of fun as it looks like it's going to snow.

About 250 KM to Granite City. If it's really snowy I'm not gonna bother as Shawn did a checkover last weekend.
