Seems to me alot of work when you could just purchase parabolics and extend your spring hangers and shackles.

I was trying to find a link for you, but so far I haven't been successful. It was a link to a huge folder of photos of a stretched series I. The primary reason he did the stretching the frame was to fit longer springs that would increase articulation. I think the guy's got chevy on the rear and rear rover springs on the front.

If I come across it again I'll post it.

I don't think you will get answers to those questions here. Most trucks around here are still pretty stock. There are a few seriously modded, and/or body transfers to other chassis (Bronco, Toyota) around here but I don't think the owners are on this board. This is where you need to go

There is at least a couple of pics in the NWC gallery of a 109 that put rear springs in the front. It moves well, but gets hung up easier with the over hang. Seems like alot of effort to go through for a leaf sprung truck, why not just put a range rover drive train under it? With Maxi Drive lockers in it it would be bullet proof as well as go anywhere.
