Hi Jim. Greg from the Island here. I have a freind from Border to Border coming out to BC from Pennsilvania, not far from the Atlantic ocean. She has a Disco set up for expiditions and would like to join in on your September trip. I wish I could make it but it simply isn't going to happen for me. She is set up with a winch, good tires and a lift among other things.

Where would she go to meet the group for a start?

Jim,

Any more information on the trip? Are there facilities for a camp-out or is it just where-ever you park for the night? Any idea where around Kelowna and what time of day people would meet?

I'm trying to get the information for B2B 57 member Linda Norman who wants to join the trip on her visit here from Pennsilvania. She is heading this way now. I won't be able to join you.

Hi Jim,

Remember those unforeseen circumstances I was talking about? Well, not really unforeseen, more like just my scatter brain in action but that weekend is my wedding anniversary and believe it or not the plans my lovely wife has made do not include wheelin' :( . I was so looking forward to that run. Oh well, maybe you can pull off another one next year.

Hi Jim,

Count me in, but likely I'll stay at the in-laws and see you in the morning.

Fraser Valley departure

A group of trucks will be leaving from the Whatcom Road exit of highway 1 just east of Abbotsford. They will be departing the exit at 3 PM on September 24th, and driving up to Jim's place to camp for the night.

Please post here if you are planning on joining that group.

JIM,
Sorry to say that Linda of B2B 57 will not be joining you for the outing this weekend. The vastness of the journey itself has caused her to reconsider her wishes to join you. She started out from the US East Coast and has made it to Vancouver Island so far, with several side trips in between. Her return trip will be even longer due to an expected detour through southern Arizona.

Wish I could make it, but that won't happen this year.
