Hi Grant,

Most of us are running 16" wheels so not too familiar with the tire offerings for 15" wheels. In fact, I only know of one truck with 15s at the moment. He is running the 33x9.50R15 you're talking about, but the tires are quite old now.

The newer KM2s seem to be aiming at a wider stance across the entire product line. You might want to consider some aftermarket wheels with a wider offset, or maybe a set of deep-dish 109 or even 110 wheels as they also have a wider offset. This would help with the steering and hitting the frame, but could also have an issue with bodywork during articulation of they were too wide.

I know someone who has a nice set of stock springs that may be coming up for sale. I'll send them a note...

cheers, Dave

Nobody is making narrow tires anymore as there is no market for them. Interco makes some narrow tire but only in the very aggressive treads. If you want to go that way, there are a few choices.

255/85/16 is your best bet f you want to stay streetable. Around 33"x10"x16".

I have bought tires in the past from Katona tires on the Coast. I love them as they are about as skinny as you can get. I got the 215/85 R16 for light truck.
Not retread, but remanufactured and no "recycling fee". Work great for on and off road summer and winter. Inexpensive as well, and I would go for them again.

My rig loves the skinny's

I have 33x9.50x15 BFG All-Terrains on my 88. As far as I know they are still made... but yeah I was looking for Mud Terrains in the same size and they are NLA.
