whipsaw routes

A group of us from work will be running the whipsaw from Coalmont to the south on the last weekend of July. We are planning on coming in from the Coquihalla, through Tullameen and into Coalmont. We will spend the first night at Lodestone Lake.

I was wondering about comments on the "Champion" route. Where is it?

I was looking at the map and noticed another route that came off the road around 49° 29.052"N 120° 43.911"W and goes up Granite & Arasta Creek. Is this Champion?

It looks like it ties back into the main trail around 4 kms south of Lodestone Lake. It comes back in about WP 95 on Dave's Whipsaw route (49° 25.861"N 120° 51.701"W)

If anybody has a set of waypoints for the Champion route, I would like to get them.

Any comments about that route?

Dave's waypoints also show a route north of the main road just out of Coalmont. What's that route like?

Cheers, Roger
