Good morning all,
Just thought I'd send out a pic of the little (and i really mean little) trip Don and I did yesterday. It was the first trip off road since getting the truck on the road, so we wanted to keep it light but still strech everything out and challenge the truck a little. The trail is as I remembered it from two years ago, with the gate at Levitt Lake remaining open (looks like it hasn't been closed in quite some time). Once you get past the tower it's pretty smoth sailing with only a couple of short streches of rocky road. (mmmm tasty). the Lake was SUPER warm, and made for a lovely refreshing dip, after a somewhat dusty trip up. The trail is somewhat overgrown and some larger branches are starting to encroach onto the road and we met 4 sets of hikers in the short 2.5K streach, so if your going up there be carefull!!
Well everything went smoothly, however just as I was coming out of the last ditch at the radio tower I managed to pinch my exaust on the frame (looks like making a skid plate is in my future) and crack it at the manifold.
All in all though very happy with the preformance, and the High Ratio really gives me long legs on the Highway. (60MPH @ 2800RPM on level and downhill slopes).

Looking Good...
Hi Jeff,
Looking good with the lake as a back-drop!
So tell us the truth, how many times did you have to tug Dons truck up to the lake?
I know, I know, what happens in Hut, stays in Hut!
Andy :D
