Hi Guys and Gals,
sorry I have been so quiet lately, I have had to do a lot of travel recently.
Anyways, back now, and checking on the scheduled Whipsaw trip next weekend the 21st.
Is this still on? I haven't seen any threads but it is still on the calendar. If so I will be going, and bringing Seamus along.
There is a lot of snow still in the hills but it would be interesting to see how far we get this year. I think we will likely need to ask for Unimog assistance though.
Who else is planning to go?
Cheers
Ray

Hey Ray, glad to hear you're up for another attempt. Andy, Kris, and I are up for it, hopefully others as well (Dave F, Glen?). I also think there will be a lot of snow as I was in Princeton last weekend and could still see it on the mountain sides. It might be good to try some night wheeling since it will be colder and the snow may be firmer. Regardless, it would be good to have a "Plan B" just in case.
I was thinking that we should go in from the Coquihalla and over the Champion trail. This way, if we hit too much snow, we could drive back to Hope and up Highway 1, just past Yale to Spuzzum FSR, and try to get to Clear Creek hot springs. I was up there 6 weeks ago and the snow was no longer an issue. The only thing is there was a big washout that we'll need to winch through or put down some bridging. Thoughts?

Whipsaw in May
Hi All,
We have postponed the 1st official snow run into Whipsaw due to higher than normal snow levels this year.
Please see the "Ross Lake" post for the alternative plan...
Cheers, Andy
