96 V8 discovery
With my code reader, I was getting no reading on the MAF except under heavy accelleration where is would show between .64 g/s to 1.28g/s. Long term fuel trim was sitting around 4% with the short term fuel trim cycling between -2.4% to +4.0%
Since I seemed be getting next to nothing from the MAF I replaced it.
Am now getting exactly the same readings from the MAF (.64 g/s to 1.28g/s.) but the long term fuel trim has moved to 0.1% and the short term is cycling between -2.4% to +3.2%
It seems the MAF made a differance, but I wonder why I not getting different readings.
I'm using the OT-2 scanner by Innovate with the iPhone app.
Any thoughts?
Hope to be at the next meeting, I'll bring the scanner and hopefully there will be other V8's I can try talking to.
