Unfortunately in a war zone any military equipment is usually trashed. This is the case with the US, as I have seen first hand in the NWT the vehicles and equipment left behind. I have also seen picutres of brand new fighter planes being cut up and buried after WW2.

I agree...what a waste....

Looks just like the parking lot at a Rover-Landers meeting...

The guys in Med Hat are connected to the base and the people getting the parts. They are not allowing any of them out as vehicles. Some parts are being released, but frames and such are cut up and scrapped to ensure no complete vehicles are sent out.

Where are the parts being disposed off?

I wonder what changed the policy, as they are casting off a bunch of Wolf 90's over the pond?

In a secret, not open to the public location.... I think they do not want the problem with them being "imported" and registered in Canada.

That makes no sense...how are they going to sell parts, if the people who want them don't know about it? As the Wolf or XD Started in 1994 you could easily import them up to 1997 models in Canada.

A couple of years back i drove up by Suffield and the base was full of them.

Do you know where the "secret" location is?

Wholesale parts market. That is where most used parts go. Much safer than dealing with the public.
