Canadian Military Surplus Spectre 20L Cans are available for 19.95 at Broadway Surplus (the one with the gorilla) in Vancouver. Decent shape. I picked up 2 this afternoon. The guy said they have "a whackload".

Yes, they're all diesel cans...guess I'll just have to pack a jar opener with me! Where is Great Canadian Expedition Located? I need some accessories.

Bit late in seeing this...

We're located in North Saanich at present, but moving up to Edmonton. Going through some major changes at present. I'm currently in the UK, setting up an office here, and my brothers Ben and Tim will be looking after the shop in Edmonton.

I have about 20 diesel cans in North Saanich right now, along with 20 or so petrol cans. The diesel cans I have right now are all olive drab with either CDN military markings, or civilian markings. The petrol cans are all olive drab with civilian markings. I also have a couple water cans, all with civilian markings, in either black or desert tan. We also carry a number of oil drain pans.

For the next few months (until Sept 1) you can contact us at:

Ryan,

Is there a replacement gasket we can purchase rather than the rubber gasket for gasoline? Can we make our own out of gasket material?

thanks, Dave
