Following Churn Creek.........
I must be not getting out enough. Last weekend thinking that the drought might have made the old Churn Creek cutoff from Swartz lake hill dry enough to drive I find that after a bumpy mile it connects with a clear cut and a new logging road connecting up to Gaspard camp. This certainly makes Taseko and Chilko lakes a lot more accessible from the lower mainland. Don and Colin will remember trying to get through here in the old Green Road expedition days. Ray

Yup...did the same trail in August.
Dry is fine, but would be a whole lot harder if it was wet and muddy.
I went up the Hurley, then up Churn Creek into the Chilcotin for a little holiday.
Saw your rig in the cove a couple of weeks ago.
Cheers,
