Welcome - I'm pretty new here, but not new to Land Rovers.
I'm hoping to join up for some rides - I guess we'll see what comes up!

Brian,
I'd recommend the back road from Renfrew to Lake Cowichan or further to Port Albernie; there's lots of roads out there that won't damage the body work but I still find fun exploring.

Re: NEW IN SOOKE
Hi Brian
We do a few drives, a few coffee meets, a few English car shows, and a fairly large 3 day event in June. Just keep checking on here for info on future events.
There is way to much snow in the hills right now for any drives.
The next British event that some of us will be going to that I know of is the Old English Car Clubs "Restoration and swap meet at Sanichton Acres ". I believe it is on Sunday April 14th. It is located on the East side of the road heading down to the Victoria ferrie terminal. Any where from 3 to 10 Landrovers can show up.
Try googling "Van Isle Landrover network" it has lots of photos and write ups of some of the events we go to. ( Sometimes it takes a little time to find it on the web, just keep trying.)
Talk with you later. Victor 1962 Dormobile
