love the photo ... it cracks me up ! looks like a mild case of oversteer mastered by awesome car control .

My guess is Germany just because the VW, Opel and military LR all add up to Germany / Austria / Nerthanlands area.
Can you believe the spectators are just sitting around on the crash barriers... oh things were different in those days!!
