Series II Oil filter assembly

attached is a webpic of a series II oil filter assembly. Does anyone know what the bolt in the top right had corner of the photo is for?
hose (capillary) for oil pressure gauge?

Yep for running a ,mechanical oil pressure gauge. Is this yours or are you buying one? I have one your can have for free if you need one.

I'm thinking about getting one as I have the dual water temp/oil pressure gauge....does the hose just screw in or is there some adapter required?

There's a banjo bolt that fits between your oil pressure sender and the housing.
