Victoria rover mechanics?

#1 Post by scotttca » Tue Apr 18, 2017 11:20 am

Hi,

I recently moved to Victoria. I see plenty of old Rovers and Discos floating about, but I haven't been able to locate a shop that claims to be familiar with Rover V8 engines. Where does everybody take their trucks for servicing? Can anybody recommend a good shop on the island?

Thanks!
Scott.

I've had good luck with my Rover and a shop in Courtenay. Called Courtenay Car Centre. They do good work. When I go in I've seen everything from a few lotus, a p1800, more than on Jag Xj v12. I took my '63 109 there.

Hi Scott

You could try Owen automotive out at the Victoria airport he does all kinds of work on British vehicles.

Do not forget about the up coming Sanichton British Car Show and Swap Meet on Sunday May 7th . We usually have 8-10 rovers show up.

Good luck.
