New to the forum, but have some experience wrenching on older german motorcycles. Am considering purchasing a 76 SWB/88 Series III with no back seats. Primary use will be my short commute, and some dirt fun, but curious if it is easy or possible to setup something for two kiddie car seats in the back.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Series III 88 child seats
Hi Jonny,
Welcome to the forum.
If you are handy you could fit a forward facing rear seat from a Jeep Wrangler, sold at aftermarket suppliers (like the one from Safari shown below) or buy used from a breakers yard. You would need to reinforce the floor & belt mounts. Also check what insurance implications there would be in the case of an accident
Alternatively wait for a Land Rover 109 to come up for sale with the rear seats already to go.
Cheers,
Andy
