Hello Everyone

All the details for the Vancouver Island Rover Rally this coming June 2018 are now posted on the Island section of the forum.
Keep checking there for any updates on the event.
This is the Islands one big event for the year don't miss it.

Thanks for posting the details. Great to hear the Van Isle Event is on again this year, always a really fun weekend.

Don’t forget our Rally in the Valley June 8,9 & 10.
Colin, Oliver and Shelly are hosting the event this year and we are hoping for a well attended event just like days of yore.

Ok, I suppose i should change my signature name now the 90 is in better hands. The green van (or man) would probably appropriate.

Hi, just checking in with the Roverlanders from the mainland side... what time are you planning to take the ferry? I am planning to take the 3.15 pm Twassassen - Duke Point ferry on Friday.

Just 5 more sleeps until the Rally! If anyone else is coming please let us know so we can make sure there is enough breakfast on Sunday for all.

For Saturday night the suggested food to bring and prepare is Salad or Desserts.

On Sunday there are plans for a scratch run after breakfast. It should last about 3 hours and then you can leave from there to wherever you need to be. We should be back on the hardpan by 1:30 (depends on how many Jeeps need rescuing). This will give you plenty of time to catch an afternoon ferry. The destination will be the famous Mt. Sicker Mines.

Not sure if its too early for you, but a few of us that are heading from the Mainland are aiming for the 12:45 Friday ferry, Twassassen to Duke Point, will likely have to be there at least 1 hour before if not reserving.

Yes agreed, thanks to all the Van Island folks who went above and beyond to make this a great weekend, Big turn out from the Mainland and we were very well looked after.
