Brits on the Beach - Ladysmith July 8th in Ladysmith

Hey everyone, it's time to hang-out with those cute little sports cars again! :roll:

From the OECC Website: On Sunday July 8th, the Old English Car Club will be hosting it’s 17th annual British car show at Transfer Beach starting at 10:00 a.m. We anticipate that there will be over 250 British cars and motorcycles on display. The public are invited to view the vehicles and get first hand information from the many car owners who have restored and maintained their classic vehicles. As always, there is no charge and everyone is welcome.


Of course there is always a good showing from the Land Rover crowd as we share our dusty and crusty rovers with the more refined of British car enthusiasts. The show starts at 10 (recommend you get there by 9:30 to get a good spot in the trees with us as we mark our territory with 90w gear oil). It is at Transfer Beach in Ladysmith. There are washrooms nearby, some good food trucks (and ice cream) as well as an awesome view of the ocean (plus there are those cute little cars if you're into that sort of thing).

Lisa and I will be hosting our 4th annual post BOTB BBQ at our place in Ladysmith. It's BYOB and we'll supply the food (burgers, salad and side dishes as well as dessert), all you need to bring is your bevvy and an appetite. BBQ starts after the show and all rover-minded folks are welcome to attend (please RSVP to help us plan for the numbers)

Okay, time to take attendance, put up your hand if you're coming to the Brits on the Beach car show... put up 2 hands if you're coming to the BBQ afterwards!

We're hoping to get some RSVPs. The show starts at 10 but probably best to get there by 9:30 to find a parking spot. Burgers, side and dessert at Rob and Lisa's place for any rover-oriented folks after the show (please RSVP so we know how many burgers to order). BBQ is BYOB, food is provided.

Last call! We've heard back from a few folks coming to BOTB as well as some coming for the BBQ after.
