The '55 2L donor engine for my S1 is going to need either a rebore or a liner fitting as #1 cyl was full of water when I pulled the head off. Any recomendations for a good machine shop that's worked on these old spread bore engines before ?
Anyone have any spare engine parts..... pistons.... NOS bearings ?
Cheers,
Andy

Thanks for the heads up but until we get the old one out and the bore worked on I won't know what we'll need. It'll either get sleeved & bored back to std or be over sized.
Hopefully back to std & we can reuse the old piston... fingers crossed
